Facebook Removes “Suggest To Friends” Option From Pages

Must Read

In a surprise move today, Facebook has omitted one of the most preferred marketing promotional features from the pages – “Suggest to Friends”. While company has not broadcasted any official reason behind such stand but speculations are being made that due to improper use, where administrator encourage fans to suggest this page to their network against few bucks or benefit, company has decide to blink-off this feature for time being.

Though this feature is still available only for page administrators (but don’t allow you to complete suggestion process), there are chances that Facebook may come up with an alternate which will allow fans to shout among their friends. However, another Facebook monitoring site allfacebook claims this as an exercise to fix a bug behind non-availability of this feature on temporarily basis.

We would suggest all of Facebook page admin not to fret as Facebook will soon come up either with alternative (may be better) feature or bring back “suggest to friend” option soon.

In mean time Facebook page for “Known issue on Facebook” is flooding with the complaints and worries about this latest move. Indeed, suggest to friend is an inconsolable feature which plays an important role, especially for page admins, to engage visitors and prospects on regular basis. Facebook rally need to work hard to substitute this feature with a better performer or need to bring it back to restless fans and page admin as soon as possible.

We will be closely monitoring this aspect and keep on updating you about the latest development regularly. We have also contacted with Facebook to shed a light on such move and shall revert back the moment we hear anything from them.
