Google All Set to Unveil Chrome Web Store & Chrome OS on Tuesday

Must Read

We have reported earlier about the possibilities of Chrome Web Store launch and now it seems to be all around. Google is all set to roll out Chrome Web Store on this coming Tuesday – 7 December 2010. People who are using the beta version can start upgrading to full-fledged Web store from Tuesday onwards.

But that’s not going to be all. Google may surprise visitors with the Chrome OS powered netbook at the same every on Tuesday, as reported by engaged. As the competition is becoming stiffer from competitors, few reports suggest that trio of Intel, Nokia and Linux is working aggressively towards the launch efforts of new OS – MeeGo. With all such scenario, Google no longer enjoys the comfort zone in OS market as gearing up to secure early launch benefits. Google is expecting 60% business will turn to Chrome OS which seems difficult when we have tested such assumptions against ground reality.

As far as Chrome Web Store is concern, Google is primarily focusing on complete cloud computing as company is highly optimistic about its future. Though Chrome Web Store, company is primarily focusing on establishment of a single source of apps which can support all other cloud initiatives of company, currently under development or pending to unveil. However, there will only be around 65,000 units available to Google’s closest “friends and family” — and that the Cloud-based OS is still very much in a beta, non-consumer-friendly state.

Most of the web based companies, like Facebook, TweetDeck, have already started demoing their browser app on Google Web Store. To establish a strong value-worth of Chrome Web Store, Google was unveiled the developer edition of Chrome Web Store six months back. As per sources, in six months, Google has managed to host more than 350,000 web apps which will help users to have better control and performance over the cloud based computing activities.

By all the means, Google is confident towards the success of Chrome ( OS as well Web Store) as future of cloud computing seems very promising among business and users. In next two days we will be in position to refine the future of Google’s Cloud Bet, once it will be launched.
