Fring Goes Head-to-Head with Skype – Lauches FringOut for Cheaper VoIP Calls

Must Read

It has not been much time when we heard about ‘Love and Hate Story’ between Fring & Skype. While it was all started with the Fring’s claim on Skype for blocking access to its network putting millions of Fring users in sudden disconnect, it seems both the companies ae in no mood to set platform for compromise. To hit back hard, Fring has launched low cost VoIP calls which will surely create a substantial impact on Skype business across the globe.

Fring’s new low cost VoIP service, named as FringOut, promises to offer the quality digital route at the direct cost of just one-cents-per-minute. FringOut promises to such service to call on any mobile or landline across the globe. Currently FringOut is available on Symbian S60 based mobile phones but company is committed to cover more platform like Android and Symbian 3 very soon.

Surely it sounds like a deal but we all know “quality comes at price”. However, it would be a challenge for Fring to keep call quality at higher priority as paramount. I am sure, Skype will be monitoring each & ever move of Fring very closely, keeping their current users base intact with such service is something which would be a game. Infact to counter FringOut, no surprise if we hear any slashed price or better offer from Skype in next few weeks.

Surely we are monitoring this space very closely as we expect much to things to analyze in next coming days. In mean time if you try and test the FringOut, do share your experience with us in comment section which would help other readers to rate the ‘new promising service’ from Fring.

Here is a first Official Video on FringOut launched by the company. I must say – An impressive Video and a great Visual criticism on Skype. Have a look and enjoy.
