In Q4 2018, Twitter posted its highest-ever quarterly revenue of $908.83 million. The revenue recorded by Twitter increased handsomely by $150.72 million registering a surge of 19.88% QoQ in Q4 2018.

Advertising Services

In Q4 2018, Twitter advertising revenue reached an all-time high of $791.36 million, with 22.83% YoY growth. On a quarterly basis, the revenue increased by $142.14 million registering a surge of 21.78% QoQ in Q4 2018.

Interestingly, Q3 2015 was the first time when Twitter ad revenue crossed the $500-million mark, globally. In the next three months, it surpassed the $600 million revenue milestone.

In Q4 2018, Data Licensing and Other segment recorded an impressive 34.55% YoY growth in revenue, amounting to $117.47 million – it also happens to be its highest revenue Twitter generated from Data Licensing and Other till date.
