Being the neighboring countries, India and China are leading in the list, with the highest number of active Internet users. Only Chinese access internet which is more than half (513 million) of the total users. However, Chinese social networking site “QQ”, Pengyou and “Sina Weibo” has high number of users accessing these websites. “Sina weibo”  has over 300 million active users, who update 100 million posts per day. Other websites like LinkedIn, Cyworld (Korea), Mixi (Japan), Qzone, Ren Ren, Kaixin (Chinese) and other localized tantamount are held responsible  for increasing such a vast number of users across Asia-Pacific reason. Facebook  has got the status of the most favorite Social Networking site in Asian.

Search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo etc (in Asia), and Baidu (in China) are also one of the key factors in increasing the internet engagement.

Although, the internet speed in many Asian countries is not up to the mark. Countries like China and India are having less internet speed in most of the areas of around 1 Mbps. But still, these two countries are responsible for increasing the overall internet engagement in Asia-Pacific region. Hence it would not be wrong if it is said that Asia-Pacific users are more active on cyber space.
