Apple’s new virtual voice assistant software for the iPhone 4S ‘Siri’ has been suffered from perceptible outage. A number of users from worldwide have reported that ’Siri’ couldn’t be able to establish its link with the main database server. The issues, related to Apple’s iPhone 4S, are not apparent to end as the issue allied to its battery life occurred in start of the week, and now, issue arises with its voice assistant ’Siri’.
Apple’s iPhone 4S user said, the voice response software ‘Siri’ is highly complicated concern to implementation; first, it establishes connection with main database server and then updates their requisite. Before establishment and updating, it requires more time and sometime fails to update the information. For example- if you enquire weather information of your town, first, it starts link establishment with the main database server that contains yours information and after its verification updates your information.
Although, the report has cropped up differently for different service providers, some devices really access the main server promptly and other faces to establish link with the server. However, nowhere any suggestion or guide has been provided to fix the problem.
The reason might be the server overburden, however, some users have told that after restarting the iPhone 4S, it temporary fixes the problem – but not eternally.
Probably, restoration of the system might reset it connections with the server or reallocating the memory in different status, which might be helpful to connect the server, yet it hasn’t been proven.
Apple has not still replied, when the issue would be resolved. Although, issue concern to its battery life, has declared officially by the company. The company said, they have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life, and will release a software update in few weeks.
It looks like after the death of Steve Jobs, visionary Ex-CEO, Apple is going through rough patches. Difficulties are mounting for company’s new CEO Tim Cook, since newly launched iPhone 4S is facing criticism in Smartphone industry. Apple iPhone 4S was launched few weeks back, just before the sad demise of Steve Jobs, and registered record sale within 12 hours of pre-launch. iPhone 4S, an advanced version of iPhone, which is loaded with several new features including its voice recognition system known as Siri, that follows the voice commands of the users and assist them too.
According to Apple Siri is in the beta version and company is planning to add several new features such as additional languages, maps and local search by next year.
