Sony Ericsson has officially announced much ambitious Smartphone SE Xperia ARC. Just launched Xperia ARC is first ever Smartphone by SE which is running on Android latest platform Gingerbread (Android 2.3). AT CES in Las Vegas today, Sony Ericsson has officially spilled the details of Xperia ARC. Loaded with 1 Ghz snapdragon 8250 processor, the new Xperia ARC is having 4.2 inch display featuring a Mobile Bravia engine.

The new Xperia ARC Smartphone, just 8.7 mm at the thinnest portion, packs a 8.1 MP Camera with HD video recording and users Sony’s Exmor R mobile sensor. The new Time scape app with reformed media scape application provides an enhanced and rich media experience to users.

Sensing the revolution in Media industry, Sony Ericsson has also included the HDMI port with new Xperia ARC to beam it with your TV.

“We’re starting strong in 2011 by introducing our most exciting Xperia™ product yet. Xperia™ arc combines state-of-the-art Sony technology with breathtaking design to entertain and wow consumers. All on the latest Android™ release.” said Bert Nordberg, President, Sony Ericsson

Though, company has denied any comment on price tag of new Xperia ARC but speculations are being made that company will tag Xperia ARC between $500 – $600. The phone will be available in selected countries including Japan in first quarter of 2011 and global roll out is expected by start of second quarter.
